Jack Teixeira, Massachusetts Air’s national man convicted of federal crimes for filtering delicate online information, declared himself guilty on Thursday of a military position to obstruct justice, a spokesman for his family confirmed ABC News.

“It was my intention to expose and correct lies manufactured and perpetuated by the Biden administration and force to the US people by the main media,” he said, according to a statement obtained by ABC News.

Teixeira also said that the Department of Justice “was politicized and used as a weapon” against him and President Donald Trump, and asked the administration to review their convictions.
“Knowing, I made decisions to inform the American public and open my eyes,” he said. “I did it completely willing to accept the repercussions. I feel comfortable with how history will remember my actions.”
Teixeira, who was previously sentenced to 15 years in prison for federal positions, potentially faced another 10 years of custody for the position of obstruction.
It was sentenced on Thursday under the terms of the guilt agreement, avoiding any additional confinement time and obtaining a dishonorable discharge, according to Lieutenant Colonel Peter Havern, the prosecutor in the military case.
Havern said they are satisfied with prayer.
“The important thing for us was the dishonorable download,” he told journalists after the procedures. “We wanted to reflect our aviators and guardians, as well as the public, that when he commits the crimes he committed, we need to accurately represent his service as a dishonorable service.”
