The Powerball Award has increased to $ 950 million, the sixth largest prize in its history, after there was no jackpot winner at Wednesday’s raffle.
The winning numbers in the draw on Wednesday were: 9, 12, 22, 41 and 61 and Red Powerball 25.
With the growing Jackpot, a winner in the Saturday draw can among an annualized prize of $ 950 million or a global payment of $ 428.9 million before taxes.
“The United States has pointed out strong and clear: it is ready to play for a Powerball Mayor,” said Matt Strawn, president of the Powerball Products Group and CEO of the Iowa lottery, in a press release.

Six tickets won $ 1 million or more in Wednesday’s raffle to match the five white balls.
The main prize has been growing since May 31, when a California player claimed an award of $ 204.5 million. During this summer streak, 56 tickets have won $ 1 million or more, and 558 tickets have won $ 50,000 or more, Powerball said.
The current Jackpot is among the largest Powerball Awards, after the records $ 2.04 billion won in California in November 2022. Other notable boats include $ 1,765 billion won in California last October; $ 1,586 billion divided between California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016; and $ 1,326 billion claimed in Oregon this April.
Powerball tickets cost $ 2 per play and are sold in 45 states, the district of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands of the United States. More than half of the income of the sale of tickets remain in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. Since its debut in 1992, the game has generated more than $ 36 billion for causes backed by US lotteries.
Winners who choose the annuity option receive immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
