US military carries out three more alleged attacks with drug ships in the Pacific, killing eight people: SOUTHCOM

The US military said Monday it attacked three more suspected drug trafficking ships in the Eastern Pacific, leaving eight dead.

In a post on X, the military’s Southern Command said the strikes were conducted under the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Joint Task Force Southern Spear.

“Intelligence confirmed that the vessels were transiting known drug trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and were involved in drug trafficking,” the post said.

Authorities said a total of eight “male narcoterrorists died during these actions,” three on the first alleged drug boat, two on the second and three on the third.

The Southern Command shared a video which seemed to show the hits on the ships.

Monday’s military action marks the latest in a series of deadly attacks in the Pacific, in which the Trump administration killed at least 95 people in 25 attacks.
