Two top Ukrainian security officials will meet in Brussels on Wednesday with several European counterparts to discuss the results of Tuesday’s US-Russia meeting in Moscow, the Ukrainian presidential office said in a statement.
Rustem Umerov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and Andrii Hnatov, chief of the General Staff, were expected to join those talks in Belgium, which would come a day after senior U.S. officials held a high-stakes meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

“This is our constant coordination with partners and ensuring that the negotiation process is fully active,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. saying Wednesday on social media.
The Kremlin’s top foreign policy adviser said Tuesday’s hours-long talks in Moscow had been “useful,” but added that “no compromise plan” had yet been found on the most difficult issues.

After their meetings in Brussels, Umerov Hnatov was expected to begin preparations for a meeting with Trump administration envoys, Zelenskyy said.
