FBI thwarts ‘potential terrorist attack’ in Michigan

The FBI thwarted “a potential terrorist attack” and arrested “multiple subjects” in Michigan, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

“This morning, the FBI thwarted a possible terrorist attack and arrested several individuals in Michigan who were allegedly planning a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel posted on X.

“Thank you to the men and women of the FBI and law enforcement everywhere who stand guard 24/7 and crush our mission to defend the homeland,” Patel continued.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s Detroit field office confirmed that there was police activity in Dearborn and Inkster on Friday. “There is currently no threat to public safety,” the spokesperson added.
