The president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said Wednesday night, the Chamber would not vote as planned in the Budget Plan of the Republican Party approved by the Senate that would finance the agenda of President Donald Trump because a small “subset” of members is not totally satisfied with her.
Johnson said the house will try again on Thursday before the camera is scheduled to go in its two -week recess in April.
“That is certainly my intention, because I think it is really important for us to do that before leaving, that we have a resolution to this or a plan to reach that resolution before everyone goes to the work period of the district,” he said. “And you know, Easter is Saturday. I have no intention that they work this weekend here, but we have to return next week, then we will.”
Johnson spoke with Trump outside the room where he met with a dozen holders for an hour before discarding the vote instead of putting the president on the speaker.

“It’s very positive, very encouraging,” said Johnson. “I gave you an update of where we are. Obviously you are very closely monitoring all this. Here is a lot of at stake.”
One of the Holdouts said the group is not challenging Trump’s wishes.
“No one is challenging the president, we are trying to support the president’s legacy,” said representative Rich McCormick, a republican of G-GA.
The rest of the conference was not happy with the holdouts.
“There is a group of people at my conference who have lost their way, and they have forgotten that the mission is the United States. They are not their followers on social networks,” said representative Derrick Van Order, R-Wisconsin. “Let them go home and sleep on this and understand that they are destroying the schedule of President Trump on purpose.”
The representative Eric Burleson, R-UTAH, another holdout, said: “We want to achieve the objectives Trump has established. Just no … we simply do not trust the Senate.”
The leader of the majority of the Senate, John Thune, left the floor of the Senate when the news was breaking that the camera was pushing a break to advance the resolution.
Thune has been clear that the Plan approved by the Senate needs to move to comply with Trump’s call to act on his agenda. But Thune turned when he was asked if he was worried about the delay in the house.
“I can’t predict what they are going to do there, but all we can do is make sure they understand where we are going and how close we want to work with them to get to the final product,” Tune said.
The camera cannot change the language of the resolution approved by the Senate or would have to send it back to the Senate, what another night vote of the night would have to do as they did to approve it last week.
Johnson said there are several ideas about the table on how to influence the holdouts.
“Well, at this time, there are a couple of different ideas about how we could change the numbers, or how we could amend what the Senate sent, maybe go to the conference. Some different ideas on the table,” he said. “I will not forecast where all this comes out, but I just want to tell you that there is a very good spirit of cooperation and discussion that everyone is trying to reach the right point that satisfies each member of this conference.”
“The consensus of tonight is, what is the amount of a minimum number of cuts and savings that we can find in the budget that will satisfy all to advance with this legislation that molds this nation,” he added?
Johnson said the conversations with the holdouts were “productive” and “all had the same idea and mission … to deliver the only beautiful bill.”
Johnson could afford to have only three defections of his Caucus with all members voting and present, but several uncompromising of the Republican Party of the House of Representatives said they had concerns about how the plan would reduce the deficit before Wednesday night.
However, Johnson said Wednesday afternoon that he believed that the Republicans would join and vote in favor of the resolution.
Passing the legislation through the camera in front of the drama on the floor would give Trump a great victory.

We are going to make reductions, hopefully exceed $ 1 billion dollars, all of which will enter ‘the only, beautiful and beautiful ticket’,” published Tuesday night. “I, together with the members of the House of Representatives and the Senators, will press a lot to make these large -scale expenses cuts, but we must approve the bill now.”
Johnson also said that he believed that the meeting was going well and that the president convinced Republicans to support the bill.
“A great meeting. The president was very helpful and committed,” he said. “We have many members whose questions were answered. We are making great progress at this time.”
