Trump Admin Live updates: Trump weighing Tiktok’s proposal before the possible prohibition

Upon arriving at the Capitol of the president’s tariff event in the Garden of Rose, the president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, Republican of La-La., Told journalists that people “do not doubt” Trump’s plan and shrunk worries about consumers’ concerns will face higher prices.

When Jay O’Brien of ABC News asked him if the president was guilty of higher prices, Johnson replied that the public should not doubt the president’s vision.

Despite predicting a “rocky” beginning for tariffs on Tuesday, Johnson described the reciprocal tariffs of the president “common sense” and said he believes that people will join.

“I think that most Americans understand that it is not just what has been done to the United States, and that you needed a strong enough president to call that and restart,” he said.
