Jeep Stellantis manufacturer said Thursday that it will temporarily stop production on two floors: one in Windsor, Canada plant and another in Toluca, Mexico.

As a result, there will be temporarily layoffs for 900 employees in their US plants. These locations include Warren print plants and sterling print in Michigan, as well as the transmission of Indiana, the Kokomo transmission and Kokomo’s foundry plants in Indiana.
The company said it is doing this, since it evaluates the medium and long term effects of tariffs. The 25% automotive rate of the Trump administration entered into force on early Thursday.
